# How to Create a Friend Request

> Learn how to send a friend request in Top 10 by searching for a username in the Friends tab and tapping Add to send the request to that user.

  After the release of Top 10! 2.0 and the UI refresh, the video in this article was out of date. The steps should work the same but if you have any troubles, please create a ticket! A new video is being created!

    1. Click "Friends" on the bottom bar
    2. Click into the search bar
    3. Enter the friend's username
    4. Click "Add"
    5. Click "OK"

    You have now created a friend request!
