Clip – Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 2, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Keynine Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with your use of Clip (“App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. 1. Information We Collect We collect the following limited information in connection with your use of the App: Information stored locally on your device:

• Links and URLs you save via the share sheet
• Titles, notes, and collection names you create
• Thumbnail images cached locally from third-party platforms
• Your subscription status (free or Clips+)

Information processed by Apple (not us):

• Payment information for Clips+ subscriptions is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment details.

2. Information We Do Not Collect We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
• We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not collect analytics or behavioral data about how you use the App.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. How Your Data Is Stored All clip data, collections, and notes are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to any server operated by Keynine Studios. Thumbnail images fetched from YouTube’s public CDN or via iOS Link Presentation (Open Graph metadata) are cached locally to your device’s storage. We do not operate or control the servers from which those thumbnails originate. 4. Third-Party Platforms When you save a link via the share sheet, the App may make a network request to retrieve a thumbnail or link preview for that URL. This request goes directly from your device to the relevant platform’s public servers (e.g., YouTube’s image CDN). We do not intercept, log, or store any data from these requests on our end. Your use of content linked within the App is subject to the privacy policies of those third-party platforms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and any other platforms whose content you save. 5. Apple App Store and In-App Purchases Clips+ subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple’s privacy policy governs the collection and use of any data related to your App Store account and payments. You can review Apple’s privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy. 6. Children’s Privacy Clip is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App and provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address the situation. 7. Data Security Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends in large part on the security of your device itself. We recommend using a device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We do not transmit your data over the internet and therefore do not operate servers that could be breached to expose your clip data. 8. Your Rights Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to delete your clip data, you may do so at any time by deleting the App from your device, which removes all locally stored data. 9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. We will update the effective date at the top of this document when changes are made. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. 10.
